Illustratorで編集できますか？
はい。出力は SVG形式で、道路・建物・緑地・水域・注記・アイコンなどがレイヤー分けされています。Illustratorで開けば、色・線幅・文字・不要要素の削除まで自由に編集できます。Inkscape など他のSVG編集ソフトでも開けます。
商用利用はできますか？
デザイン用途であれば商用利用できます。ただし地図データは © OpenStreetMap contributors（ODbL）なので、公開・配布物にはクレジット表記（© OpenStreetMap contributors）を残してください。なお本ツールの出力は模式図のため、測量・ナビ・法的用途には使えません。詳しくは利用規約・免責をご覧ください。
OSM（OpenStreetMap）とは何ですか？
世界中の人が共同で作っている、自由に使える地図データベースです。「地図版のWikipedia」とよく例えられます。Map2Vector はこのオープンデータをもとに、デザインしやすい模式地図を生成しています。
料金はかかりますか？
無料でご利用いただけます（現在は1日あたりの生成回数に上限があります）。無制限・広告なしの Pro 版は準備中です。
地図の精度はどのくらい？
見やすさを優先して簡略化・変形された模式図なので、実際の地形・道路・距離とは一致しません。あくまでデザインの下書きとしてお使いください。正確さが必要な用途（測量・ナビ・防災・法的判断など）には使えません。
地名や施設の情報が古い／間違っています。
データの元は OpenStreetMap です。内容の誤りや古い情報は、OpenStreetMap 側で誰でも修正できます（修正が反映されると、次回以降の生成に反映されます）。
Illustratorを持っていません。
無料の Inkscape など、SVGを編集できるソフトであれば開けます。ブラウザで表示するだけなら、そのままSVGをWebに載せることもできます。
生成した地図の著作権は誰のもの？
元データは © OpenStreetMap contributors です。あなたが加えたデザイン（配色・文字・レイアウト等）はあなたの制作物ですが、地図データ部分のクレジット表記は残す必要があります。
対応ブラウザは？
Chrome・Safari・Edge・Firefox などの最新版でご利用いただけます。スマホでも動きますが、細かい編集はPCのIllustratorがおすすめです。
データはどこかに保存されますか？
地図の生成はお使いのブラウザ内で行われ、生成物を当方サーバーに保存することはありません。詳しくはプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。

Frequently asked questions
Can I edit it in Illustrator?
Yes. The output is SVG with roads, buildings, green, water, labels and icons on separate layers. Open it in Illustrator (or Inkscape) and restyle freely.
Can I use it commercially?
Yes, for design use — but keep the map-data attribution (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). The output is a schematic and must not be used for surveying, navigation or legal purposes. See the Terms.
What is OpenStreetMap (OSM)?
A free, community-built map database — often called "the Wikipedia of maps". Map2Vector builds design-friendly schematic maps from this open data.
How much does it cost?
It is free (currently with a daily generation limit). An unlimited, ad-free Pro plan is coming soon.
How accurate is it?
It is a simplified, deformed schematic — not accurate — meant only as a design draft, not for surveying or navigation.
Some data looks wrong or outdated.
The source is OpenStreetMap; anyone can fix it there, and fixes appear in later generations.
Who owns the copyright?
Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. Your design work is yours, but keep the map-data attribution.
